P1
Title of poem
Author
Message of the poem
For ex:  The message of the poem is that you should be smart about who you trust.  In the poem, the fly got tricked into trusting the spider to go inside the spider's home.  This caused the fly to get eaten by the spider.  This tells you that you should be smarter than the fly and think about why someone is trying to get you to do something you don't want to do.

P2
How does the author show that the spider is cunning.  Cite 3 pieces of evidence from the poem that show the spider is cunning and explain what the text means.
For ex:  Firstly, stanza 1 says, "I've a many curious things to show when you are there."  Here the spider is being cunning and sly because he is trying to convince the fly to go in the parlor by enticing the fly to see all the curious things inside.
Secondly, ...
Lastly,...

P3
The poem, "The Spider and the Fly" and the movie, "It's a Wonderful Life" have some similarities in the way the characters behave.  However there is one important difference that I saw in the movie.
In the poem, the characters are the spider and the fly....

In the movie, the characters are Mr. Potter and George Bailey...

One important difference in the movie is that...
